As a key member of the Technical team, the successful candidate will:
- Develop new products according to specification to meet demanding timeframes. Test new Raw Materials and evaluate new suppliers and sources. Develop new specifications for Raw Materials and Products. Conduct Product testing and contribute to Technical Data Sheet content. Provide Technical Support to customers and participate in the investigation of customer complaints. Develop relationships with external organisations and test facilities. Manage, track and report on progress related to the function, in line with company processes.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a Chemicals/Construction Chemicals company
- Proven ability in product development with deep knowledge of one or more of the following: concrete admixtures, cement grinding aids, polymer-based products (epoxy and polyurethane) for construction such as flooring & coatings, grouts, concrete repair materials, mortars and surface treatments.
- Graduate Chemist, with good degree.
- Good interpersonal, spoken and written skills, in English.
- Appropriate Software skills, including Microsoft Office package.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and implementation.
