Our client is Indonesia’s only fully integrated community relationship management (CRM) company. This multinational company is seeking a quality individual to fill the position of Software Engineer, to be based in Jakarta. The winning candidate will be trained about the company’s developer kit and will be expected to become proficient in the use of the product.
Key responsibilities will include:
- You will be responsible for the development and testing of application code written mainly but not exclusively in the company’s developer kit. From time to time it may be necessary to use other programming languages such as Java, JavaScript or HTML.
- Application development and support
- Drive continuous process and system improvements
- Participate in application design and business requirements gathering sessions where required, often involving the analysis group and customer
- Take part in the system configuration management and releases management to production systems, including performance management and software profiling
- Understand business requirements behind what you are being asked to do and remain mindful of these at all times
Job Requirements
- Are educated to a computer science or software engineering degree level with a GPA of 3.00 or more
- Three years’ experience in software engineering
- Are excited by the possibility of travel all over the world for extended periods of time
- Have knowledge of object oriented programming, such as Java and .Net
- Are an outstanding communicator, with strong English speaking and written abilities
- Bonus points if you have working knowledge of SQL, JSP/JavaScript and J2EE application server
