Responsibility
- Manage & support efficient utilization of cash and financial services in a manner consistent with the objectives of the Company.
- Responsible for identification of Tax liability, preparation & submission of timely and accurate tax returns of the company.
- Assist in trade investment portfolios including Working capital, High-Yield, Escrow, and other portfolios.
- Suggest changes to the investment policies based on the market conditions.
- Execute cash management systems to optimize efficiencies.
- Prepare benchmark studies of banks and their services to evaluate whether it fits companies requirements and make suggestions to Manager.
- Liaising with banks and placing treasury instruments per treasury policy document.
- Evaluate risk associated with any foreign exchange transactions and make suggestions to ensure risk is controlled and profit raising opportunities are maximized.
- Monitor usage of treasury instruments (LC, Bank Guarantee etc) and ensure timely closure of same
- Calculate company's tax liability and the applicability of taxable/non-taxable instruments.
- Timely & accurate preparation & submission of tax return required for local tax compliance.
- Co-ordinate with government departments for smooth closure of tax assessment.
- Assist Manager – Statutory Reporting & Compliance/Manager – Tax & Treasury in continuously improving tax matters focusing on simplification, standardization, quality improvement and cost minimization.
- Maintain cordial relation with Tax authorities and Bankers.
Requirement
- 4 to 5 years experience in financial operations function
- Accounting degree and recognized general accounting qualification
- Must have advanced Excel skills and Proficient in basic math skills
- Knowledge and understanding of tax and treasury.
- Understanding in Brevet A and Brevet B
- Operational level knowledge and application of accounting and financial analysis skills
- Aligns his area of responsibility within the framework of the Linde Group
- Self-motivated individual requiring less supervision with passion for excellence and peak performance.
- Excellent teamwork along with ability to work autonomously
- Strong communication skills (oral, written and listening)
- Fluent both in Bahasa and English
- Attention to detail.
