Responsibilities:
- Secretarial duties including typing, creating and maintaining a filing system for administration, correspondence, distribution of letters to parents/students, taking minutes of meetings etc.
- Responsible for issuing certificates in response to student requests, and entering details on the school student administration database. Keeping a proper record of verifications, certificates and transcripts. Provide general support for the administration of assessment in the school.
- Record absence and late arrival of students, answering the phone, relaying message, processing reports/requests that come in from teachers and students.
- Produce simple announcements/internal memos/notes for teachers as needed.
- Organize HOD meetings/ and other faculty meetings.
- Schedule meetings with parents.
- Prepare Report Cards each term.
- Assist teachers in school events.
- Download material from internet databases, as required.
- Scan material if required.
- Assess the level of urgency (phone calls, meetings, etc.)
Key Requirements:
- Female
- Diploma or bachelor degree in any major from a reputable university
- At least 2 years' experience in a similar position is preferred
- Good knowledge of admin functions and procedures
- Good proficiency in English, both speaking and writing
- Computer literate (minimum MS. Office)
- Disciplined team player with attention details
- Good personality, trustworthy
