Role of this position is responsible to oversee all environmental data gathering and reporting as related to government, investor, and other stakeholder requirements and provide advice to the environmental manager on all compliance-related aspects of achieving best environmental practices for G-Resources.
Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor degree of Chemist, Fishery, Environmental and relevance
- Very good skills spoken and written English
- A minimum of 8 years in an environmental operations role in the mining or other relevant industry.
- Knowledge of relevant environmental standard operating procedures for open pit mining and cyanide processing
- Through knowledge of the Indonesian Environmental and Mine Regulations
- Previous experience with the development of a Geographic Information System (GIS)
- Good leadership and influential team building skills
- Working knowledge of MS Office software
- Good Indonesia and English report writing skills
- English fluently
- Sound awareness of contemporary environmental issues
- Demonstrated success in training of environmental management techniques.
- Sound awareness of operational safety issues and an excellent personal safety record
- Prior exposure to ISO14001, OHSAS 18001 implementation and auditing, previous exposure to open pit mining operations and prior exposure to The International Cyanide Management Code is preferable
