Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Legal Director will participate in negotiations and prepare and advise on all types of contracts to be executed by MCA-Indonesia. The Legal Director will also advise the Board and the Management Unit (Unit Pelaksana Program) on legal issues and address legal issues as they arise. In addition, the Legal Director will cooperate with and advise representatives of Government bodies, regarding the Government's responsibilities under the Compact, and act as the main liaison between MCA-I and MCC - USA on legal matters.
Candidates must have university degree in law (Master degree or equivalent is preferred) and approximately ten (10) or more years of relevant experience working at a law firm or as legal counsel in Indonesia, preferably with some experience as counsel in a commercial or not-for-profit entity
