Job description : Maintain and develop freight forwarding business from local customers and overseas partners.
The Role:
- You will have a well-established network within the industry and strong relationships with key players.
- Ability to introduce and secure new corporate accounts and contracts.
- Ability to generate local sales
- You are a people person with the ability to negotiate and influence both your internal stakeholders and external prospects.
- You will be results orientated with a drive and passion to exceed other's expectations.
- Have an ability to think outside of the square and introduce new ideas to the company on how to increase sales in corporate sales and large contracts.
- Must have previous sales experience in Freight Forwarding Services.
- The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years' experience in a similar role.
- Have a thorough understanding of the Freight Forwarding Industry.
- Have solid operational and logistical experience within the Freight Forwarding Industry.
- Have an excellent networking and relationship building approach.
- Have a high degree of solutions-based sales focus.
- Have the ability to work independently.
- S1 or Diploma holder
- English proficiency ( other language mastery is a plus )
- Computer literate ( words, excel is a must )
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, high achiever, result oriented
