Responsibilities:
- Supervise & control of mining site operations not only in HR areas also for the General affairs matters and safety.
- Conducts and coordinates the recruitment/selection process
- Responsible for developing & maintaining job registers by working with dept./Div. heads
- Assists Department/Division Heads in defining selection criteria
- Assists departments with organizing exams, tests, and assessment centers.
- Assists with administration of the classification and compensation plan, including classifying and re classifying positions and conducting salary surveys
- Responsible for a comprehensive employee personnel records system for all employees, regardless of category of employment, including personnel action forms, pay history, performance evaluations, promotions, market adjustments, merit increases and bonuses
- Advises employees and distributes information regarding compensation, policies and procedures; provides assistance and staff support to departments/divisions as requested.
- Acts as administrator for the Performance Pro employee evaluation program
- Assists the GM in coordinating, developing and presenting human resource related training programs to management and employees.
- Works with the Director on resolving difficult employee relations matters, to include discipline/discharge and grievance/appeal procedures.
- Assists in the implementation and application of new and existing personnel policy.
- Assists in conducting human resource policy and program research and development projects, including developing research format, collecting data, formulating results, composing and typing various research reports.
- Takes action during GM's absence and uses initiative and judgment to see that
- human resource matters requiring attention are handled in a manner so as to minimize the effect of the GM's absence.
- attends staff meeting in the absence of the Director.
- Performs other duties as assignedby GM.
Requirements:
- Male/Female, 35-45years old
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, psychology, business administration or related field (Master's degree is preferred)
- More than 10 years experience at the senior HR managerial level with a reputable and Medium to Large mining Company
- Should be well versed with Legal, Industrial Relation, Payroll, KPI, & General Affairs
- Should be a good team leader and capable of working independently
- Capable to manage high pressure working conditions due to the nature of work
- Must have a Friendly relationship with the Employees
- Great interpersonal, persuasive, hard worker, assertive and energetic
- Able to meet deadlines and adapt to changing conditions
- Ability to generate effective and pragmatic solutions to new situations and problems as they are presented
- Strong working knowledge of employment law issues and ability to apply these to a variety of situations using a pragmatic and common sense approach
- Excellent computer skill and English proficiency is a must (both oral and written)
