- Manages the overall Technical Operations area in organisation. Ensure, monitor and evaluate all activities Operational Group, they are marketing of services and underwriting process both of domestic and overseas reinsurance run in accordance with the systems and procedures to support the business strategy and achieve company goals.
Job Requirement :
- Male/ Female, Max. 38 years old
- Candidate must possess at least a Banchelor's Degree , preferably majoring from Insurance
- At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position or 5 years experience as Reinsurance Manager or Senior Underwriting in Insurance/ Reinsurance Company or equivalent
- Established, maintain, and improve the policies and procedures to ensure an appropriate balance of controls and efficiency in Technical Operation Area
- Develop strategy in Technical Operation Area
- Manage Technical Operation function (Marine, Non Marine, Life & Treaty) in underwriting process and marketing services to customer (Ceding Company) to achieve company goals
- Maintain relationship and visit to Ceding Company
- Maintain relationship with Retrocession Company, Reinsurance Broker and other Reinsurance Company
- Analyze and perform acceptance Technical Operation per function in accordance with the authority set forth in the underwriting guidelines
- Monitor the realization of acceptances per month
- Monitor the budget and make a contingency plan for the achievement of production deviation
- Provide technical advise to the ceding company as needed.In order to smooth operations
- Understand the basic principles of insurance and reinsurance companies
- Understanding of the process of underwriting insurance / reinsurance
- Having a certification AAAIK & AAIK or equivalent are advantage
- Good personality, high responsibility, good analytical skills and accuracy, able to manage team, able to work under pressure and Strong leadership and mature, Good analytical and conceptual thinking skill, active, self motivated, dynamic, creative and innovative
- Having excellent communication, presentation skill
- Good communication in both written and spoken English
