- Our client is a Singapore based independent Asian funds management group with a focus on Asian energy and infrastructure opportunities. The Group comprises an Asian based team of investment professionals with Asian energy and infrastructure operating, industry investment and funds management
experience. Equis head office is located in Singapore. They have a newly established developer of Hydro-electric facilities in Indonesia, sponsored by the Group. It will manage a portfolio of subsidiaries involved in development, construction and operation of a small hydro platform. They are looking for an Indonesian national to join them as General Manager - Construction Management, based in Jakarta with travel to project sites regularly, including extended stay at project sites when necessary. Responsible for Construction Management of company's Hydro power projects in Indonesia. Ongoing Role Description and Key Responsibilities - Overall organisational responsibility for the delivery of hydro-power construction projects within quality, time and cost parameters. Lead team for construction management of the company's hydro power projects including establishment of team, construction supervision, quality control of construction works, contract management, liaison with contractors and other stakeholders. Establishment and implementation of in-house systems for procurement, project management and monitoring and quality control. Oversight of contractor procurement, including preparation of PQ, RFP and Tender documents, evaluation of tenders, providing tender recommendations. Implementation of work performance planning, scheduling and reporting techniques are employed on each and every job, in line with corporate policies.
- Responsibility for project monitoring and reporting. Develops and trains construction personnel and assigns appropriate site staff.
Supervise and coordinate the work of contractors on site with respect to safety, quality of work, and adherence to applicable codes, standards, and design documents. Ensure that Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) policies programs are implemented and adhered to at all times. Prepare various technical reports required for the works.
Persyaratan:
- The right candidate must be a Indonesian national, with a Minimum 15 years' experience in construction of small, medium and large scale infrastructure projects with preferable exposure in hydro power projects or water infrastructure projects. Minimum 3 years' experience as Construction Manager/ Project Manager/Contract Manager or similar of a medium to large infrastructure project in Indonesia.
- Prior experience in the implementation of corporate systems for procurement, project management and quality control.
- Prior experience in the general contracting environment in Indonesia with preferable exposure in FIDIC contract management and EPC contracting.
- Formal training in engineering, construction, or a related field preferred.
- Project Management, Engineering, or other related professional designation would be an asset.
- Good network of trades in relevant industry; with a good understanding of current pricing and preferably a background of estimating exposure.
- Good cost and schedule management skills.
- Focus driven and be able to relate to the owner with a strong sense of delivering exceptional work.
- Experience in International engineering firm would be well regarded.
- Excellent computer skills, MSWord, Excel, MS Project.
- Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
